Welcome to the Tasmanian University Psychology Society (TUPS)! I’m Sam Tylutki, the current President, and it’s my absolute privilege to lead this incredible community of passionate, curious, and driven psychology students.
At TUPS, we’re more than just a student society — we’re a supportive network, a space for growth, and a hub of opportunity. Whether you’re fresh into your first semester or heading into your honours year, our aim is to help you feel connected, inspired, and involved throughout your journey at UTAS.
We know uni can be overwhelming (especially in psychology — shoutout to all my stats warriors 💪), and that’s why TUPS exists. We run events that bring people together, provide access to resources that make the hard stuff easier, and create pathways into industry through networking, mentoring, and collaboration.
Most importantly, we want you to feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
You’re never just a student number here.
